COURSE CONTENT

FORMAT: Online, with a dedicated student portal to access course material consisting of course notes, graphs, pre-recorded presentations, and tutor support (if required). The course can be completed individually within a set time frame.

COURSE DURATION: This course can be completed in your own time over 12 months.

ASSESSMENT FORMAT: Short assessments, and one case study, all completed via our Learner Management System.


The MHERA Model can be used with mammals, birds, reptiles and in a modified way, with amphibians and fish, to monitor wellbeing. The MHERA App makes record-keeping easy, and saves a lot of time by generating wellbeing reports automatically.

The MHERA Assessment results provide a simple visualization of the greatest deficits or excesses that affects an animal’s wellbeing, which gives clear guidance on what needs to be worked on first.
